Terms and Conditions for Business Card Scanner

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ScanConnect web application ("Service"), operated by ScanConnect, accessible at https://scanconnect.app. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and any applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. User Account
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

If you are under the age of 16, you may not use the Service.

You acknowledge that any action you take on your data (e.g., adding, editing, or deleting contacts) will directly affect the data stored in our database. Deleting a contact will result in permanent removal from the database.

You also understand and agree that only the ScanConnect owner (or authorized personnel) may access your data, and such access is limited to troubleshooting or service-related purposes only.

5. Payment Terms
If you subscribe to a paid service, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors, and you agree to the terms and conditions of the processor.

You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or other charges that may apply to your use of the Service, and for providing accurate payment details.

6. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal or professional use as intended by the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service or any content from the Service without our express permission.

7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, we will delete your data, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

The Service is provided "as is" and we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's performance, availability, or functionality. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
